Integrating PayPal allows your users to conveniently and securely finalize their purchases using their PayPal accounts.

How to Setup Your PayPal API

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Go to PayPal API Access.
  3. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard.
  4. Go to Store.
  5. Select Payment Methods -> PayPal.
  6. You will see fields for API Username, API Password, and Signature.
  7. Fill out these fields with the appropriate information:
  • API Username: This is usually the email address associated with your PayPal account.
  • API Password: Ensure this is a secure password and store it safely.
  • Signature: PayPal provides this unique identifier for your API.
  1. Once you have filled out the fields, click on the Save button.

API Information

No Business Account Required

Our platform utilizes a PayPal API that does not require you to have a business account. This allows you to easily integrate PayPal without needing to upgrade your account.

  • Request your API information from: PayPal API Access
  • From the given link, log in to your PayPal account.
  • Request your API information from the page.
  • Once you're done, you'll get information about:
  • API Username
  • API Password
  • Signature

Set Up Your PayPal IPN

To ensure your PayPal setup is working perfectly, you'll need to set up PayPal IPN. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard.
  2. Go to Store.
  3. Select Payment Methods -> PayPal.
    • Scroll at the bottom.
  4. Go to your PayPal Account and navigate to Settings > Seller Tools > Instant Payment Notifications.
  5. Click on Choose IPN Settings if not already enabled.
  6. Paste the copied link into the Notification URL field.
  7. Select Receive IPN messages (Enabled).
