Custom Email Server

Using a custom email server allows you to appear more professional. This function is intended for advanced users who know what they are doing.

How to Make Changes​

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard
  2. Go to Website Settings
  3. Select Email Settings

There you will find the option to disable or enable your own SMTP server. At the bottom, you will find the inputs where you need to enter your SMTP details. For the password, you must input your password every time you want to make changes. All your details are encrypted and decrypted only when needed.

Important

You have to ensure you know what you are doing; otherwise, very important parts of your website won't work. For example, functions like password reset or sending emails when somebody buys something won't work. This function is for people with advanced knowledge of SMTP Servers.
