Affiliate Settings

The Affiliate System Settings allow administrators to customize and control various aspects of the affiliate program. This includes setting minimum sales amounts for commission eligibility, defining commission types and values, and specifying which categories, products, and users are eligible for commissions. The settings are designed to offer flexibility in managing the affiliate program, ensuring alignment with business goals while providing clear guidelines for affiliates.

How to Make Changes​

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard
  2. Go to Website Settings
  3. Select Affiliate Settings

Options​

  1. Minimum Amount to Spend: Set the minimum transaction amount for which affiliates receive commissions. This setting ensures that affiliates are compensated for substantial sales.
  2. Commission Type: Choose how affiliates are compensated. Select Fixed amount for a consistent payout per sale or Percentage for a commission based on the sale's value.
  3. Commission Value: Define the commission amount here. Input a fixed value for set payouts or a percentage to correlate the commission with the sale amount.
  4. Commission-Eligible Categories: Specify which product categories qualify for commissions. This allows prioritization of certain product lines in affiliate promotions.
  5. Non-Commissionable Categories: Indicate which categories are excluded from earning commissions. Use this to omit specific product categories from the affiliate program.
  6. Commission-Eligible Products: Designate individual products that can earn commissions. Ideal for highlighting and promoting specific items through affiliates.
  7. Non-Commissionable Products: Identify products that are not eligible for commissions. This can be due to various reasons like limited availability or special promotions.
  8. Commission-Eligible Users: List users who are authorized to earn commissions. This helps in managing and selecting suitable users for your affiliate program.
  9. Enable Affiliate: You must enable this if you want the Affiliate system to work.
  10. Auto Generate: When activated, this feature automatically enrolls users into the affiliate program as soon as they visit the /profile/affiliate page on your website. This streamlined approach is ideal for websites seeking to effortlessly expand their affiliate base, allowing immediate access to the affiliate system under the global settings.

Tailoring Affiliate Options for Individual Users​

To tailor affiliate options for individual users, first ensure the affiliate system is activated:

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard
  2. Go to Website Settings
  3. Select Affiliate Settings
  4. Enable Affiliate

Once enabled, access the Users tab in the main menu. Select the desired user and navigate to their Affiliate tab in their profile. There, you'll find the option Commission Type set to global by default. Change this to fixed or percentage as per your preference and click Save. After saving, additional configurable options specific to that user will become available.

Earnings Accrual​

All earnings accrued through the affiliate program will be automatically added to the user's virtual balance once a request is made. This provides a streamlined way for users to accumulate and track their earnings from affiliate activities, ensuring they have control over when their earnings are processed.
