MySQL Server

MySQL Servers are an important part of your website, enabling you to connect plugin integrations and game integrations that utilize MySQL. We use MySQL Servers for several purposes, such as:

  1. Displaying information on your website like:
    • Punishments
    • Leaderboards
  2. Managing admins and groups for various games like Counter-Strike 2 or Counter-Strike 1.6

We prioritize your security and privacy. Your database information is encrypted and decrypted only when needed, ensuring that your data is never shared with anyone.

How to Connect a MySQL Server​

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard.
  2. Go to Integrations -> Servers.
  3. Choose MySQL Server for Server Type and fill in all fields.
  • Note: You will need to enter a new password every time it is changed for security reasons to prevent any leakage of your MySQL password.

What is a Global MySQL Server?​

Global MySQL Servers are crucial for the smooth and efficient operation of our platform, especially when utilizing your MySQL Servers. These servers facilitate easy integration of plugins with our platform. Each game that supports Plugin Integrations includes an option to select a global MySQL Server.

How to Select a Global MySQL Server​

To select a global MySQL Server for a game, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the GameCMS Dashboard.
  2. Click on Integrations.
  3. Select the game you want, e.g., Minecraft.
  4. You will be redirected to a page where you can find and select a Global MySQL Server.

You can add as many MySQL Servers as you need. In our Plugins Integration, you can choose whether the plugin should use the Global MySQL Server or a different one.

tip

It's advisable to maintain a single MySQL Server for all your servers. Most plugins support prefix tables, allowing you to specify a prefix when adding a new Plugin Integration.
